I do have a question though, which I suppose could partly be answered by anyone. You did a Link from every TV console game, but none from any of the gameboy(/DS) games. I've also noticed that a lot of people I watch on Youtube who are Zelda fans seldom even mention the gameboy games at all, and there's five of them (of which I own 4 so, yeah.) I guess my question for you is; why not any of the gameboy Links? And for anyone else I guess; is there something I'm missing in that people don't consider the gameboy games to be, like, true zelda games or something? Do they just get bad reviews and many people don't like them? Or is it just something many people didn't get into?
To answer your question, I have played all of the Zelda games, including the handhelds and I don't see the main console games as being superior in any way, shape or form (countless hours of my life have been spent on a GameBoy playing Zelda ). However, the reason why I didn't include any Links from the handheld games are because many of them are very or exactly similar to some of the console links. Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks Link are all based primarily on the design of Wind Waker Link and Oracle of Ages/Seasons as well as Link's Awakening Link is similar to A Link to the Past Link (maybe slightly younger). Of course, I could have included all of them in with distinct items or apparel to set them apart, I decided to focus on the characters that they were primarily based on.
I love the hand held games and I think everyone should play them; I'm pretty sure they've all gotten good reviews and anyone who doesn't seem them as true Zelda games may not be a true Zelda fan.
